Jazeera Airways celebrates 1st new route to Al Ain International Airport

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Jazeera Airways has launched its first-ever direct flight from Kuwait to Al Ain International Airport on Friday 13 December, as part of the airline’s regional expansion plans. 

Both of the Abu Dhabi Airports and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT - Abu Dhabi) have facilitated the service, according to a press release on Thursday.    

The UAE ambassador to Kuwait, Saqer Nasser Al Raisi, and Jazeera Airways’ chairman, Marwan Boodai, attended the inaugural flight.

Moreover, Sheikh Saeed Bin Tahnoun Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Sabah Nasser Al-Sabah welcomed the flight among other dignitaries.  

Commenting on this, Jazeera Airways’ chairman, said, “Jazeera Airways’ new flight to Al Ain is a milestone for our airline, which has been growing steadily and providing a reliable service to customers in the Middle East, Asia and Europe.”

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Airports’ chief commercial officer, Maarten De Groof, added, “The new route will unlock more choices for passengers travelling between Kuwait City and the growing airport of Al Ain.”

“The GCC has always been one of our largest and most significant markets and Jazeera Airways’ new route will further expand Al Ain International Airport’s connectivity in the region that will truly benefit consumers,” he added.
